Baggage Allowance by Airline in Pakistan

Baggage allowances differ by airline, route, fare and cabin, so the only reliable figure is the one on your ticket. This page explains how allowances work and how to check yours.

How allowances are set

  • By route: international tickets often allow more than domestic ones.
  • By fare: low-cost and basic fares may include only hand baggage, while standard fares include checked bags.
  • By cabin: business class usually allows more.
  • By system: some tickets use a weight limit (such as kilograms) and some a piece count.

Where to find yours

  • The e-ticket or booking confirmation shows the allowance for each leg.
  • The airline’s website or app shows it under “Manage booking”.
  • If you have connecting flights on different airlines, check each one.

Hand baggage

Airlines limit the size and weight of cabin bags. Check the dimensions, and remember airport security rules on liquids and electronics.

Avoiding fees

  • Weigh your bags at home before leaving.
  • Buy extra baggage online in advance: it is usually cheaper than at the airport.
  • Pack heavy items in hand baggage only if allowed.
  • For Hajj and Umrah flights, check special rules; see Umrah flight baggage rules.

We do not list weight allowances for each airline because they change often. Always confirm with your airline.
