How to Share a Live Flight With Family
You can share a live flight by sending family a link to the flight’s page. They open it and see the aircraft’s live position without any account or app.
Steps
- Open the pickup board.
- Enter the flight number, for example PK 300.
- Press “Create link”.
- Copy the link or press the WhatsApp button, and send it.
The link points to the flight’s live page on this site. Anyone with the link can see the aircraft when it is in the air and tracked.
What they will see
The aircraft’s status, altitude, speed and position on a map, and, when we have observed the flight before, past observations. They will not see your name or booking.
Tips
- Send the link before departure, so family can check later.
- If the page says the flight is not tracked, it may not be airborne yet, or the plane is out of coverage.
- Remind family that landing is not arrival: immigration and baggage take time. See landed vs arrived.
Privacy
The link reveals only public aircraft data. See flight tracking privacy and legality.
