Quetta Airport (UET) Getting From the Airport to the City

Quetta International Airport is about 9 km in a straight line from the centre of Quetta; by road the distance is longer. Travel time depends on traffic and the time of day. Quetta sits at high altitude, so winters are cold and can bring snow, fog and low cloud that affect flights.

Options

  • Ride-hailing apps: where available, app-based rides give a price and a tracked journey. Availability and pick-up points vary, so check the app on arrival.
  • Airport taxis: use official or well-known taxi services, and agree the fare or confirm the meter before you set off.
  • Pre-arranged pickup: hotels, tour operators or family can arrange a driver; share the flight so they can track it; see pickup board.
  • Other transport: buses and other options may exist; ask at the airport information desk.

We do not hold verified fares or schedules, and they change.

Tips

  • Arrange your ride before you land when you can.
  • Keep your bag with you and confirm the destination before the car moves.
  • Avoid unofficial offers made inside the terminal.
  • Have some local currency or a working card, and a charged phone.
  • Check the time of day: rush hours add a lot of time.

Safety

Be wary of strangers offering rides for money. Use official or recommended options. Keep documents and valuables in hand baggage.
